As an Event and Banquet Manager , you're not just overseeing all aspects of planning and execution for events and managing the staff and operations of our meeting space - you're spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest. Responsibilities Here's what you'll do during a typical day: Execute high-quality events: Manage event documentation, facilitate seamless transitions throughout the pre-event, event, and post-event phases of events, and serve as the primary client contact to ensure smooth execution, proactive issue resolution, and an exceptional event experience Create exceptional experiences: Design creative menus and catered events that maximize revenue and elevate the guest experience Grow catering and events market segments: Solicit new client relationships, develop proposals, and negotiate contracts to close new business Cultivate client relationships: Maintain strong connections with existing corporate and social accounts to secure repeat business Guide team performance: Communicate client requirements, provide direction, and offer feedback and coaching to ensure consistent, high-level service Event Operations Management: You will assist the Senior Event and Banquet Manager in leading our Event Operatons team of Houseman and Banquet Servers.
