Certified Surgical Technologist

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced certified surgical technologist to assist physicians and nurses in the gastroenterology (GI) lab during endoscopic procedures. The clinician will prepare procedure rooms and instruments, maintain sterile technique, assist with ERCP and other GI procedures, and support the care of adult and geriatric patients under the direction of registered nurses and gastroenterologists.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or equivalent.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor per facility policy (HS-BLS or RQI BLS acceptable).
• Experience performing ERCP required.
• Experience in a Gastroenterology (GI) Lab or Operating Room preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required. Associate's/Technical degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Two or more years' experience as a certified surgical technologist in an endoscopy or OR environment preferred.
• Prior experience assisting gastroenterologists with a range of endoscopic procedures preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift Days: 5x8 schedule, 8:00 am start.
• On call requirement as specified by the client.
