Data Engineer II

Data Engineer MUST HAVE SKILLS (Most Important): AWS, Docker, Tableau, business intelligence, ETL and data pipeline experience Proficient in at least in one of the major languages (Java, Scala, Python) and SQL (any type) A qualified candidate must possess each skill (or vast majority in some cases) to be considered.

DESIRED SKILLS:

lean software development methodologies knowledge of Kanban AWS Data Analytics Certification Kinesis, Informatica and OBIEE experience

JOB DUTIES:

Part of team that owns the entire section of the business intelligence technical stack, corresponding data pipelines and take projects from an idea to production. Architect and design the data warehouse platform team that handles all of the data. Drive the technology roadmap for the BI platform. Understand business needs and come up with scalable engineering solutions. You have a strong background in building distributed data pipelines. Write clean, fast code to implement new features Strive to write elegant and maintainable code, and you're comfortable with picking up new technologies. Serve as the point of contact to your team for external organizations (e.g. Product Engineering, Support) Comfortable working in the most agile environments with vague requirements and rapid iterations.
