Direct Care Supervisor

Salary $30.11 - $45.16 Hourly $62,624 - $93,936 Annually Pay Band C8 About the Position This position will directly oversee and manage various homes that provide services to individuals who are developmentally disabled. The House Supervisor functions as a supervisor to lower-level Direct Care Staff and is responsible for ensuring the health and safety of the individuals served in their assigned home. The House Supervisor is responsible for assigning staff assignments, auditing documentation, providing training to staff, observing resident behavior, and participating as a member of the Individual's Interdisciplinary Team, as well as providing highly skilled services to individuals who are behavioral and/or mentally ill and may cause injury to themselves or others. LLCP has three shifts: 12am-8am, 8am-4pm, 4pm-12am. These positions will be assigned to one of these shifts and will be required to work weekends and holidays. Responsibilities Oversee and manage assigned homes and staff. Assign staff assignments and audit documentation. Provide training to direct care staff. Observe resident behavior. Participate in the interdisciplinary team for residents. Provide highly skilled services to residents who are behaviorally or mentally ill. Ideal Candidate Experience as a Supervisor. Experience working with people with developmental disabilities, including those who are mentally and physically disabled and/or display behavior. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma and four years of experience related to essential duties of the classification. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience totaling four years may substitute for the required experience. Working Conditions Work performed in an office setting and community-based homes. Ability to lift/push/transfer up to 50 pounds without assistance and over 100 pounds with assistance. Must handle unpredictable violent behavior from residents. Daily driving required. Occasional overnight stays may be required. Exposure to VDT, extensive computer and phone usage. Essential functions include sitting, standing, walking, bending and reaching.
