Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians to assess their physical needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Execute treatment regimens involving therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities to promote healing and achieve optimal functional outcomes.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to create a cohesive treatment strategy, ensuring all aspects of the patient's care are synchronized.
• Educate and empower patients and their caregivers regarding their conditions, treatment plans, and exercises to enhance recovery.
• Provide documentation of patient progress in adherence to regulations and standards for best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program recognized by the APTA or CAPTE.
• Current state license in Physical Therapy, allowing for practice in Florida.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.

• Proficient in computer and word processing skills for documentation and reporting purposes.

Preferred Experience

• Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred but not mandatory.
• At least two years of clinical experience in a relevant therapy setting.
• CPR certification current and in good standing.

Compensation and Benefits
