Supply Chain Analyst II - Systems, Programs, & Analytics

Responsibilities The Supply Chain Analysis team is part of H-E-B’s Corporate Planning & Analysis division. The team focuses on supply chain optimization and supporting systems applications to support strategic initiatives. As a Supply Chain Analyst, you will develop processes, tools, reports, and provide data analytics to support supply‑chain strategic initiatives such as forecasting, inventory planning, logistics, and cost optimization. Analytics Independently identify, document, analyze, implement, and communicate solutions that meet business needs. Define current and future operational scenarios and collaborate with business areas or client groups to translate moderately complex business needs into solutions and business requirements. Analyze the probable impact of recommendations and solutions on other business areas and client groups. Contribute to cost/benefit analysis, design, and implementation of supply‑chain models for projects. Provide support and resources for ad‑hoc analysis requests, tools, development, and process‑improvement projects. Identify issues and gaps within current business processes; develop solutions that drive continuous improvement in the functional area. Serve clients and stakeholders as an emerging subject‑matter expert and thought leader in the focus area. Project Management Manage medium‑to‑large complexity projects that may encompass technologies, facilities, processes, materials, handling systems, or other business initiatives. Ensure projects are on schedule, of high quality, within budget, meet departmental scorecard, and create business value. Contribute to project efforts and status reporting. Proactively develop project‑management tools for Supply Chain. Support and deliver training and education services to teams and resources. Lead, in conjunction with project teams, delivery of processes, systems, metrics, and services. Maintain client‑stakeholder partnerships to ensure overall satisfaction. Background and Experience A related degree or comparable formal training, certification, or work experience. 5+ years of supply‑chain experience. Supply Chain Systems: Project Management Professional Certification (preferred) OR Supply Chain Optimization: Experience developing or maintaining engineered labor standards (preferred) OR Transportation Procurement: Experience with freight term changes, logistics, or Llamasoft Supply Chain Guru (preferred).
