Project Control Officer

Our Client is looking for an experienced Project Control Officer Intermediate to support procurement and supply chain activities.

The successful candidate will work closely with procurement, project teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure sourcing activities, documentation, reporting, and procurement processes are completed accurately and in compliance with organizational policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Support procurement and sourcing activities across multiple projects.
• Work with internal stakeholders to ensure sourcing documents are complete and accurate.
• Enter and maintain procurement information within systems such as Workday, Flextrack, and/or eSourcing platforms.
• Maintain procurement and project documentation and ensure a complete audit trail.
• Track project requirements, schedules, deliverables, and status updates.
• Prepare reports, documentation, and procurement-related analysis.
• Support Project Managers with updates, risks, escalations, and deliverables.
• Maintain document repositories and assist with document routing and approvals, including DocuSign.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders while managing timelines and expectations.

Must-Have Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience supporting procurement activities with a strong understanding of procurement principles and processes.
• 4+ years of experience with Workday, Flextrack and/or eSourcing tools.
• Experience working with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, and MS Teams document repositories.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with public-sector procurement processes.
• Knowledge of project management concepts including scope, risks, schedules, costs, and deliverables.
• Experience supporting multiple Project Managers and critical projects.
• Experience developing and maintaining project schedules, status reports, and documentation.
• Experience with procurement tools such as Ontario Tender Portal.
• Experience using DocuSign and managing project document repositories.
• Ability to identify risks, escalate issues, and ensure deliverables remain on track.

Additional Details

• Hybrid role with up to 3 days onsite, subject to the Hiring Manager's discretion.
• Candidates must be located in Ontario
• Public-sector experience is considered an asset.
