Sr Research Associate

Natera seeks a Senior Research Associate to support molecular biology product development focused on oncology diagnostics. The role involves designing and executing laboratory experiments, analyzing data, optimizing protocols, and collaborating with cross-functional teams on assay development.
Responsibilities
- Design, plan, and perform experiments for non-invasive prenatal and cancer detection test development
- Execute complex laboratory experiments and analyze data using advanced analytical tools
- Maintain detailed laboratory notebooks, write protocols, and document scientific results
- Troubleshoot laboratory processes and communicate findings with multidisciplinary teams
- Summarize research work in reports and presentations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in molecular biology or related field
- 3-4 years of industry experience in assay development
- Hands-on expertise with nucleic acid techniques (PCR, qPCR, DNA analysis)
- Experience with Next Generation Sequencing protocols and techniques
- Basic statistical analysis skills; JMP, database, or programming knowledge preferred
Compensation: $69,700-$87,100 USD
