A Regulatory Affairs Coordinator is needed for a distributor in Lakewood. This is a temporary role with the possibility of growing into Temporary-to-Hire. The pay rate is $25-35/hr, depending on experience. Hours are 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday. The role is currently 100% on-site, with the potential to transition to a hybrid schedule (1 day remote/week) as the role progresses. The individual will be responsible for ensuring inward and outward shipments of materials or products are accompanied by appropriate documentation and are prepared and/or available on time.

Responsibilities:

• Regularly review new and existing legislation regarding operations, storage, or transport contractors.
• Liaise with government authorities, industry bodies, and contractors to ensure storage, transport, and Good Manufacturing.
• Prepare information briefs as required for legislative changes that will affect contractor procedures.
• Ensure procedures reflect compliant work practices.
• Review, amend, delete, and develop procedures as required.
• Report non-compliance with legislation where required by Environmental Protection Licenses in NSW, waste, water, etc.
• Complete compliance annual return for Environmental Protection Licenses in all States and New Zealand.

Qualifications:

• A degree in science (or related discipline) with an understanding of the importance of compliance and quality documentation.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Will consider a Paralegal who is interested in a role like this.
• Experience with fertilizer/feed registration reporting requirements would be a strong plus.
• Preferred experience with the PACIA Responsible Care program, Quarantine permits for Australia and New Zealand, and Environmental Management Systems Implementations.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $25.00 - $35.00 Per Hour
