GROUP FITNESS MANAGER
\nCrunch Fitness is seeking an energetic, organized, and motivated Group Fitness Manager to lead and grow our Group Fitness program.
\nThe Group Fitness Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and managing the Group Fitness experience while supporting, developing, and motivating our team of instructors. This role plays an important part in creating high-energy, high-quality classes that align with Crunch’s mission to Encourage, Empower, and Entertain.
\nAt Crunch Select, the Group Fitness Manager will also help create an elevated, boutique-style fitness experience by building member relationships, increasing class participation, supporting membership sales, and creating a strong sense of community within the club.
\nKey Responsibilities:
\n• Build, maintain, and optimize Group Fitness schedules using the Class Management System (CMS).
\n• Ensure class schedules are accurate and available through the Crunch app and website.
\n• Coordinate instructor substitutions and maintain consistent class coverage.
\n• Monitor class attendance and identify opportunities to improve participation and member satisfaction.
\n• Manage studio digital technology and class-related systems.
\n• Recruit, audition, onboard, mentor, and evaluate Group Fitness instructors.
\n• Ensure instructors maintain required certifications and complete all necessary Crunch training.
\n• Provide ongoing coaching, recognition, and professional development to the instructor team.
\n• Oversee Group Fitness studios and equipment to maintain a clean, safe, organized, and class-ready environment.
\n• Manage inventory and replacement needs for studio equipment, including dumbbells, mats, barbells, TRX equipment, and other supplies.
\n• Partner with the Membership Team to showcase the value of Group Fitness to prospective and new members.
\n• Provide personalized class recommendations to help members find programs that align with their fitness goals.
\n• Encourage referrals and guest participation through strong member and instructor relationships.
\n• Support club tours, enrollment appointments, sales events, open houses, community outreach initiatives, and membership campaigns.
\nThe ideal candidate is a passionate fitness professional with strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills who thrives in a high-energy environment and is committed to delivering an exceptional member experience.
