Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team. The technologist will prepare and administer radioactive drugs, operate radiation detection and imaging equipment, assist radiologists with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and process and transmit images to PACS.

Minimum Requirements

• Graduate of a program accredited by JRCNMT or CAMRT.
• Current Nuclear Medicine certification (NMTCB or ARRT) or current State Nuclear Medicine license as required by the state.
• At least one year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in an acute clinical setting.
• Current BCLS certification.
• Proficient computer skills and experience with image processing and PACS transmission.
• Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology.
• Experience with mobile and stationary radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional years of acute care nuclear medicine experience preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 0700-1500.
• Location: Passaic, NJ (hospital setting).
