Title: Learning Strategy Instructional Designer Location: Hybrid – Willis Tower (In-Office, 2-3 Days per Week) Hours: 9am – 5pm CST Duration & Type: Initial 6-month contract with potential for extension into or through 2027 or conversion Compensation: Competitive W2 hourly rate ($34-35 per hour), plus access to healthcare and dental insurance plans of choice (benefit plan details available upon request) Summary Chamberlain Advisors is partnering with a global enterprise organization to identify a Learning Strategy Instructional Designer to join its Global Learning team . This consultant will play a critical role in designing and delivering impactful learning solutions that align with strategic business goals, elevate learner engagement, and support enterprise-wide capability development. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced instructional designer who brings both creative learning design expertise and strong project execution discipline . The ideal candidate will be capable of independently managing multiple learning initiatives while partnering with business leaders, stakeholders, and subject matter experts to create scalable, measurable, high-quality learning experiences across a variety of modalities. We are seeking a professional who can think strategically about learning—not simply execute content builds—someone who understands when to deploy eLearning, instructor‑led training, microlearning, performance support materials, or blended approaches based on learner needs, operational realities, and business outcomes. What You Will Be Accountable For Design, develop, and deliver enterprise learning solutions across multiple modalities, including: eLearning, Instructor‑led training (ILT), Virtual instructor‑led training (VILT), Microlearning, Job aids, Performance support tools, Video‑based learning content Apply instructional design best practices, including ADDIE and Instructional Systems Design (ISD) methodologies, to create engaging, learner‑centered programs aligned with organizational objectives Assess learner needs, stakeholder goals, and business constraints to recommend the most effective instructional modality and learning strategy Build high‑quality digital learning content using Articulate 360 and Rise, serving as the primary authoring platforms Publish, maintain, and manage learning content within an LMS environment (Cornerstone preferred) Partner closely with internal stakeholders, business leaders, and subject matter experts to gather requirements, refine content, validate accuracy, and ensure alignment with business priorities Independently manage multiple concurrent learning initiatives, balancing deadlines, dependencies, stakeholder expectations, and competing priorities Lead or support train‑the‑trainer sessions, facilitation efforts, and instructor enablement activities as needed Develop clear stakeholder communications, status updates, implementation plans, and learning deployment materials Establish learning measurement strategies and track effectiveness using metrics, learner feedback, and evaluation tools such as Qualtrics or similar platforms Analyze learning outcomes and continuously optimize programs based on data insights and stakeholder feedback Audit and improve existing learning assets to ensure relevance, instructional quality, consistency, and alignment with organizational standards Rapidly iterate and adapt learning solutions in response to changing business priorities, stakeholder input, and operational needs Utilize project management tools and structured workflows to keep initiatives organized and on track (Jira experience preferred) What Qualifications You Need 3+ years of professional experience in instructional design, learning development, or corporate learning strategy Demonstrated experience designing across multiple instructional modalities rather than solely developing eLearning content Strong command of ADDIE, ISD frameworks, adult learning principles, and learner‑centered design methodologies Advanced proficiency with: Articulate 360, Rise, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Hands‑on experience working within an LMS environment, including content publishing, maintenance, and administration (Cornerstone strongly preferred) Strong project management skills with proven ability to independently manage multiple complex workstreams simultaneously Experience partnering with cross‑functional stakeholders and subject matter experts in a corporate environment Experience defining learning success metrics, gathering learner feedback, and using data to improve program effectiveness Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create polished stakeholder‑facing communications Creative problem‑solving mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity and shifting priorities Experience working within a fast‑paced enterprise or corporate environment Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship Preferred Qualifications Experience with video creation, animation, or digital media development using tools such as: Vyond, Synthesia, Basic video editing software Familiarity with project management and workflow tools such as Jira Strong business acumen with the ability to translate organizational challenges into effective learning strategies Experience presenting recommendations, learning insights, and program strategies to leadership audiences Background supporting large‑scale enterprise learning initiatives or cross‑functional organizational programs Experience working in highly matrixed or complex enterprise organizations Equal Opportunity Employer Chamberlain Advisors provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or genetics.
