Pay & Benefits

• Pay package: $300,000 – $350,000 annually, based on experience and credentials

What You’ll Do

• Provide direct inpatient medical care, including admissions, rounding, and discharges
• Diagnose and manage a wide spectrum of acute and chronic conditions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including specialists, nurses, respiratory therapists, and emergency physicians
• Develop and coordinate comprehensive care plans facilitating smooth patient transitions
• Order, interpret, and respond to laboratory, imaging, and diagnostic results
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies, codes, and rapid response situations
• Manage ventilator care in the inpatient setting
• Participate in hospital rounds, multidisciplinary meetings, and quality improvement initiatives
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up care

What You Need
Required:

• MD or DO license, Vermont license preferred or eligible
• Board certification or eligibility in internal medicine or family medicine with hospitalist experience
• Ability to work independently with strong clinical judgment
• No visa sponsorship candidates accepted; commute time under 1 hour preferred

Preferred:

• Prior hospitalist experience in a community hospital setting
