Full Time Description Medical Technologist/Clinical Laboratory Scientist Journeyman is responsible for accurate and timely reporting of high‑complexity laboratory test results with minimal supervision. MT/CLS JRN personnel perform pre‑analytical, analytical, and post‑analytical duties including specimen evaluation, data analysis, instrument maintenance, and problem resolution. They work with acute‑care and outpatient caregivers, and other Laboratory Services staff to meet laboratory demands. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science from a NAACLS‑accredited MLS program. Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Physical, Biological, or Clinical Laboratory Sciences. Upon hire: National Medical Laboratory Scientist, National Clinical Laboratory Scientist, National Medical Technologist (from either American Society for Clinical Pathology or American Medical Technologists), or National Medical Laboratory Scientist – American Medical Technologists. One year of experience as a Medical Laboratory Scientist in a laboratory department that meets or exceeds the principal duties of the MLS I job description. Preferred Qualifications Three years of experience in a moderate or high‑complexity clinical laboratory.
