Production Planner Location: Springfield, NJ, US Experience: Mid Level Salary: $80,000 - $105,000 per year Job Responsibilities Monthly, quarterly, yearly execution of customer commitments Achieve 100% OTIF to all customer commitments Partner with operations team to ensure parts move through facility on schedule Communicate execution risks and opportunities to leadership Implement risk mitigation plans at start of execution (e.g., planning orders, yield factors, involving manufacturing engineering) Document lessons learned and manufacturing improvement opportunities for subsequent orders Coordinate resources (quality, manufacturing engineering, design engineering) to provide necessary information Drive rapid resolution of ECOs, EOs and MRB for development parts Plan outsourcing vs. insourcing to reduce lead time and risk Collaborate with engineering and operations to achieve cost improvement and gross margin targets for hardware deliverables Produce hardware execution schedules for management and customers Maintain accurate data in ERP system (commit dates, open/active orders, quantities, etc.) About the Company My client is a leading manufacturing company that is growing and looking to add a Production Planner to their team.
