Professionally, this assignment will immerse you in a Level III trauma center with 252 staffed beds, granting exposure to a wide spectrum of patient cases across inpatient, outpatient, and ER settings. You'll work alongside experienced clinicians, broadening your clinical skills while learning diverse workplace practices and leadership styles. Serving a community hospital that utilizes the EPIC charting system, you'll stay at the forefront of technology and coordination in patient care. This placement is invaluable for enhancing your resume with acute care experience in a fast-paced environment, opening doors for future opportunities in advanced imaging or leadership.


Schedule/Hours:

• 5x8-hour day shifts (1st shift; shift times may vary based on department needs)
• Every other weekend required
• Rotating holidays
• On-call duties as needed
• Start any Monday from 6/22 through 7/20 (up to 7 days of requested time off; must make up time)

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of hospital experience in imaging (CT)
• ARRT-R and BLS certifications required
• Valid (or pending) Connecticut CT state license
• Comfort working with EPIC charting
• Experience with acute care, seeing both adult and pediatric inpatients, outpatients, and ER patients

Responsibilities:

• Conduct CT imaging studies with technical proficiency and compassionate care
• Collaborate across interdisciplinary teams for exceptional patient outcomes
• Adapt to on-call, weekend, and rotating holiday requirements
• Uphold protocols in a Level III trauma care environment
