Junior Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our Finance team. In this role, you will support day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate financial recordkeeping, and assist with month-end and year-end close processes. Key Responsibilities Accounts Payable Manage accounts payable functions using accounting software Process invoices and ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors Handle accounts payable for multiple entities and vendors Review invoices against statements to verify accuracy Ensure proper coding and posting of expenses Reconcile corporate credit card transactions Maintain strong relationships with new and existing vendors Process daily, weekly, and monthly vendor payments Perform account maintenance, transaction processing, and reconciliations Accounting & Financial Support Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger Reconcile prepaid expenses and accrual accounts on a monthly basis Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities Support inventory tracking for Food & Beverage, Pro Shop, and special orders Collaborate with team members to improve accounting processes and efficiencies Maintain accurate financial records and documentation Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred 1-3 years of accounting or accounts payable experience preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Strong communication and problem-solving skills What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Opportunities for growth and professional development Collaborative team environment Health benefits, generous PTO, 401k #J-18808-Ljbffr
