Senior IT Manager

We are looking for a strategically minded, hands-on Senior IT Manager who will help shape our technology vision, modernize our IT landscape, and ensure that our infrastructure keeps pace with the company’s growth. The Role As our Senior IT Manager, you will be responsible for the company’s IT strategy and operations and will serve as a trusted technology partner to senior leadership and the business teams. You will report directly to the CEO and lead the design and implementation of a modern, cloud-oriented IT environment that enables productivity, security, automation, and future growth. This is a unique opportunity to independently build the IT department from the ground up within a rapidly growing consumer goods company. The location operates as an independent, autonomous IT unit. You will design the architecture, tools, and processes for the company entirely on your own and coordinate with the U.S. business and the global IT organization as needed. Key Responsibilities Developing and implementing the company’s IT strategy, architecture, and technology roadmap to support continuous business growth. Developing, implementing, and managing workplace technology, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, networks (including the site’s local network and internet connectivity), and business applications. Building and maintaining a modern, cloud-oriented environment by phasing out outdated infrastructure and providing secure, flexible access for employees. Take responsibility for the entire employee technology lifecycle, including hardware procurement, onboarding and offboarding, software deployment, endpoint management, and IT support. Serve as a subject matter expert for Microsoft 365, Windows environments, networks, identity and access management, and cloud-based technologies. Promote the automation of business processes by implementing integrations, AI-powered solutions, and low-code/no-code platforms that improve operational efficiency. Collaborate with Operations, Sales, Finance, and external vendors to support and integrate ERP, EDI, logistics, and other business-critical systems. Lead cybersecurity initiatives, including endpoint protection, multi-factor authentication (MFA), password management, data backup and disaster recovery, vulnerability management, and security awareness training. Manage technology vendors, software licenses, hardware procurement, IT budgeting, and service providers while optimizing costs and performance. Establish scalable IT governance, documentation, standards, and operational processes that support long-term growth. Evaluate new technologies and AI solutions for businesses that boost productivity and streamline business processes. Anticipate future technology requirements and ensure that IT enables expansion, innovation, and operational excellence. What You Bring To The Table At least 6 years of relevant IT experience, including leading IT teams or managing enterprise technology in a growing company. A proven track record of delivering secure, reliable, and scalable IT solutions to support business operations. In-depth expertise in Microsoft 365, Windows environments, Microsoft Entra ID, identity and access management concepts (classic Active Directory knowledge is a plus for hybrid legacy systems), Microsoft Intune, networking, endpoint management, cybersecurity, and cloud-based business applications. Experience implementing enterprise systems, automating business processes, and introducing technologies that improve efficiency and scalability. Proven ability to lead IT projects from planning through implementation, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external vendors. Experience managing IT service delivery, including ticket systems, SLAs, prioritization, and continuous process improvement. In-depth knowledge of best practices in cybersecurity, identity and access management, endpoint protection, data backup and disaster recovery, and IT compliance. Experience managing IT vendors, software licensing, technology procurement, and budget management. Experience with ERP systems, EDI, logistics, manufacturing, or the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry is a major plus. Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into practical business solutions for non-technical stakeholders. A proactive, hands-on, and customer-focused mindset, along with a strong ability to work independently and take initiative. The on-site IT function will be established and operated autonomously, with occasional coordination with the local and global business teams. Willingness to work primarily on-site to support employees, build relationships, and drive business success. What We Offer Competitive base salary of $120,000–$140,000, depending on experience. 24 days of paid vacation plus company holidays.
