Lets shape the future of General Dynamics Land Systems together.QualificationsBachelors degree Supply Chain Management or Business related degree5-7 years of relevant professional experience (procurement or supply chain preferred, if applicable)Proficiency with Oracle and related business/computer systemsStrong negotiation skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesSolid understanding of procurement processesDemonstrated ability to effectively multi-task and manage workload/buying deckProven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment to meet objectives and performance metricsHigh standard of business ethics and professional conductHigh capability to operate autonomously and problem solve complex mattersResponsibilitiesLead the solicitation and preparation of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Quotes (RFQs)Perform cost analysis and evaluation of supplier proposals and quotesComplete and process formal purchase orders in accordance with GDLS proceduresProvide customer service support to internal and external stakeholders, including resolution of payment discrepanciesConduct proposal negotiations covering cost, terms and conditions, payment terms, and scope of workPrepare, place, and administer purchase orders, monitoring performance to ensure compliance with requirements and scope of workImplement and manage long-term agreements and contract purchase agreementsSupport planning activities related to material and service requirementsExpedite parts and materials to meet program and production schedulesCoordinate onboarding of new suppliers, including execution of NDAsInterpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate procurement of goods and servicesPartner with requestors to support supplier development initiativesEnsure GDLS compliance with applicable procurement laws, regulations, and internal policiesPrepare and deliver presentations to senior leadership, both internal and external, as requiredCollaborate as an active team member and assist/mentor colleagues as neededTravel up to 20% as required to support business needsPerform other duties as assignedWhat We OfferWe offer a Total Rewards package that is Impactful and built for youHealthcare including medical, dental, vision, HSA and Flex SpendingCompetitive base pay and incentive pay that rewards individual and team performance, and comprehensive benefits401k match up to (6%)Educational assistance9-80 work schedule (This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80.
