OpenShift Engineer

We are looking for a skilled OpenShift Engineer to design, deploy, administer, and support Red Hat OpenShift container platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Kubernetes, containerization technologies, automation, and cloud platforms, with a passion for building secure, scalable, and highly available containerized environments. Key Responsibilities Deploy, configure, and administer Red Hat OpenShift clusters across development, testing, and production environments. Manage, monitor, and optimize Kubernetes workloads to ensure high availability, scalability, and performance. Install, configure, and maintain OpenShift Operators and Helm Charts for application deployment and lifecycle management. Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines by integrating containerized applications into automated deployment workflows. Monitor cluster health, resource utilization, and application performance using appropriate monitoring and logging tools. Troubleshoot platform, networking, storage, and application issues to minimize downtime and improve reliability. Implement security, compliance, and governance best practices for OpenShift and Kubernetes environments. Automate infrastructure provisioning and platform management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools. Collaborate with development, DevOps, infrastructure, and security teams to deliver reliable container platform solutions. Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and platform standards. Required Skills & Qualifications Hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift administration and support. Strong knowledge of Kubernetes architecture and workload management. Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Podman . Experience with Helm and Kubernetes Operators. Knowledge of CI/CD tools, particularly Jenkins . Proficiency with Git for source code management. Experience with automation tools such as Ansible . Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform . Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with public cloud platforms, including AWS , Microsoft Azure , or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) . RedHat certifications such as RHCSA or RHCE . RedHat OpenShift Certification . Experience implementing enterprise-grade security, compliance, and container platform best practices. #J-18808-Ljbffr
