Make a difference in the lives of students by providing essential support as a Special Education Teacher in a welcoming school environment near the Bensalem, PA area. This full-time contract opportunity runs from August 24 to June 11, with hours from 7:45am to 4:00pm, allowing for meaningful impact and consistent engagement with your students.

You will be responsible for supporting approximately 12 students, using your expertise to create individualized education plans, assess student progress, and collaborate with fellow educators, parents, and support staff.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Pennsylvania teaching certification in Special Education
• Recent PA clearances (within one year) or ability to quickly obtain new clearances
• Prior experience working with students with diverse learning needs preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) designed to meet students' unique needs
• Utilize a variety of instructional techniques to promote student engagement and achievement
• Maintain accurate records for student progress and compliance
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success
• Participate in professional development and school activities as required
