Director Facilities Management

Strategic Planning Manager
Salary Range: $133,347 - $214,689 Salary Grade: 31 FLSA: Exempt
The purpose of this classification is to provide strategic planning for facilities management and to direct the maintenance, construction, and operation of County facilities, grounds, and physical plant infrastructure. Essential functions include managing and evaluating assigned staff, overseeing employee work schedules, reviewing timesheets, approving employee concerns, completing performance appraisals, directing work, training staff, organizing and prioritizing work, developing long- and short-term plans, directing financial resources, directing work performed by outside contractors, developing bid specifications, ensuring compliance with building regulations, and possessing a valid Georgia driver's license.
Minimum qualifications include a bachelor's degree in facilities management, engineering, construction management, or a related field, with ten years of progressively responsible experience in facilities management, building maintenance/repair, or construction management, and five years of senior management experience for a comparably sized organization or as a director for a smaller organization.
