Job Title: LPN/LVN – Long-Term Care
Location: Oswego, NY
Type: Contract (8 Weeks)
Shift & Schedule: Days | 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM or 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM | 3 Days/Week | 36 Hours/Week | Every Other Weekend
Pay: $900 - $1,300/week (Based on Experience)

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced LPN/LVN to provide compassionate nursing care to long-term care residents, including those with dementia and chronic conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to long-term care residents.

• Administer medications and treatments.

• Monitor resident conditions and report changes.

• Perform nursing assessments and assist with care plans.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.

• Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, physicians, and other healthcare staff.

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.

• Follow infection-control and medication-safety procedures.

• Provide supportive and end-of-life care as needed.

• Maintain resident safety and comfort.

• Float to other units or areas as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State LPN/LVN license.

• Minimum 1 year of LPN/LVN experience.

• Current BLS certification.

• Long-term care, skilled nursing, or nursing home experience preferred.

• Dementia care experience preferred.

• Strong clinical assessment and medication-administration skills.

• Must be willing to float to other units/areas as needed.

• Must be available every other weekend.

• Must be able to work either scheduled shift.
