Per Diem Retail Staff Pharmacist | Mansfield, Ohio

Job Description

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Per Diem Pharmacist position is available to provide vacation coverage at a retail pharmacy in Mansfield, OH. The pharmacy operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM; however, the pharmacist schedule is from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM with no lunch breaks as the pharmacy remains open throughout the day.

Responsibilities include data entry and verification for over 200 prescriptions daily using PioneerRx software, answering phone inquiries, product verification, and managing controlled/narcotic drug deliveries including check-in and signing. The pharmacist will collaborate with three full-time pharmacy technicians but is not required to provide immunizations at this time.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Active and clear Ohio pharmacist license
Minimum of 1 year recent experience in retail pharmacy settings
Strong familiarity with retail pharmacy workflows and prescription processing
Proficient use of PioneerRx or similar pharmacy management software preferred
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail for customer interactions and medication accuracy

Schedule/Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
Coverage needed for vacation on November 25th and other dates as required
