Med Tech Opportunity In Fort Gibson, OK
I have a great client in Fort Gibson, OK actively hiring a permanent Med Tech. Here is more information:
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops and establishes procedures for collecting, processing, and analyzing biological specimens and other substances
- Performs and reports analytical tests, integrating data from various clinical laboratory departments and resolving discrepancies
- Confirms abnormal results, verifies quality control, and develops solutions to testing or data issues
- Conducts preventive and corrective maintenance of laboratory equipment and coordinates repairs as needed
- Promotes teamwork, service excellence, and process improvement while adhering to laboratory policies and guidelines
- Provides guidance and support to medical laboratory science students during educational activities
- Exercises independent judgment in planning operations and making technical decisions
- Interacts professionally with patients, internal and external customers, and other healthcare professionals
Requirements:
- Clinical lab experience
- Degree in Medical Technology or related study
- AMT or ASCP certified
