They are seeking a Senior Automation QA Engineer to play a critical role in ensuring the quality, stability, and performance of next-generation Wi-Fi and networking products. This position offers the opportunity to work hands-on with embedded systems, cloud integrations, and large-scale automation frameworks while collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams in a fast-paced, highly technical environment. Here’s What You’ll Be Doing Design, build, and maintain robust automated test solutions using Python and modern automation frameworks to validate router firmware and connected devices Develop automation coverage for firmware lifecycle scenarios, networking functionality, Wi-Fi performance, security features, and system stability Integrate and execute automated test suites within CI/CD pipelines, partnering closely with DevOps teams to troubleshoot failures and improve reliability Analyze test outcomes, isolate defects, classify root causes, and work with engineering partners to drive timely resolution Continuously enhance automation efficiency by reducing flakiness, improving execution speed, and optimizing lab and resource utilization Here’s What Our Ideal Candidate Has Strong hands-on experience with Python-based test automation, preferably using Robot Framework or similar tools Exposure to AI/ML-driven tools or platforms used in test automation, analytics, anomaly detection, or quality optimization (hands-on experience or practical application preferred) Solid understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, IPv6, routing, and modern Wi-Fi standards (Wi-Fi 6/6E/7) Experience testing embedded or hardware-based systems, including Linux environments and SSH/CLI interaction Familiarity with CI/CD workflows, Git-based version control, and automated pipeline execution Proven ability to debug complex issues, analyze logs, and collaborate effectively with both local and distributed teams About Us: This job posting is from a family of recruiting agencies: Access Data, Agile Resources, Paladin Consulting, and SNI Technology.
