We’re looking for a technically skilled, detail-orieted, and motivated individual to join our production team as a Millwork Machine Operator.

What the Role Is

The Millwork Machine Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating woodworking machinery used in the production of custom mouldings, doors, and millwork components. This role requires precision, focus, and a commitment to quality craftsmanship in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

Essential Skills

• Strong technical aptitude and mechanical understanding.
• Experience operating woodworking or production machinery.
• Strong math and measurement skills for precise cuts and dimensions.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and retain technical information.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and teamwork mindset.
• Commitment to maintaining safety and cleanliness in the workspace.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain a variety of woodworking machines.
• Read and interpret work orders, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Ensure all products meet quality and production standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and report any mechanical issues.
• Assist with material handling, loading, and unloading as needed.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe at all times.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in woodworking, millwork, or machine operation preferred, but not required
• Strong math, measurement, and problem-solving skills.
• Physically able to stand for long periods and safely handle materials.
• Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Team player who welcomes feedback and strives for continuous improvement.
