Senior Underwriter

Job Description We areseekingan experienced and decisive Senior Underwriter to join our team. In this role, you willbe responsible formaking final credit decisions, structuring deals, and managing overall risk within our MCA portfolio. You will review prepared files, perform independent risk analysis, and approve, counter, or decline transactions based on company guidelines and risk tolerance. The Senior Underwriter plays a critical leadership role inmaintainingportfolio quality, driving funding volume, and mentoring junior underwriting staff. Key Responsibilities Review complete underwriting files and make final credit decision Structure deals including approval amounts, terms, pricing, and stipulations Evaluate bank statements, credit reports, stacking exposure, and overall risk profile Assess renewals, refinances, and modification requests Provide guidance and oversight to Junior Underwriters Collaborate with sales and operations teams to move deals efficiently Communicate approval terms and conditions clearly to internal teams and brokers Maintain adherence to internal risk guidelines and funding policies Assistin refining underwriting policies and credit parameters as the company scales Qualifications Minimum2+ years of direct MCA underwriting experience (required) Strong understanding of merchant cash advance risk evaluation and deal structuring Deep familiarity with analyzing bank statements, stacking positions, and cash flow trends Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume funding environment Proficient in Excel and underwriting systems Leadership mindset with ability to mentor junior staff Office Hours Monday to Thursday: 10:00 am to 6:00 pm Friday: 10:00 am to 3:00 pm Compensation and Benefits Base Salary: Commensurate with experience Performance-based bonus structure tied to volume and portfolio performance #J-18808-Ljbffr Apex MCA Holdings LLC
