Registered Nurse (RN)- Pediatric Neurology Clinic

Ambulatory and Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN), Pediatric Neurology – Triage – Outpatient Clinic Support Key Responsibilities Deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care in an ambulatory pediatric neurology clinic. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, advocate for patient needs, and uphold professional practice standards. Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation). Use evidence‑based practice and clinical decision‑making to promote safe outcomes and the best patient experience. Perform routine triage, IV insertion, medication administration, and other clinical procedures as required. Maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical records. Qualifications Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the role is performed. Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program. Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association. Minimum of 1 year of RN experience (preferred). Physical Requirements and Working Conditions Must be able to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, reach above shoulders, and twist frequently throughout the workday. Must lift up to 35 pounds, push/pull with 30lbs. of force, and perform a sliding transfer of 150lbs. with a second person present. Must have functional speech, vision, hearing, touch and fine hand manipulation skills for IV insertion and other procedures. May be exposed to chemical and hazardous waste, blood and body fluids, and communicable disease. Protective clothing and equipment may be required. Must respond quickly to changes in patient and/or unit conditions and may be required to complete physical ability testing.
