Lead a brand-new luxury lease-up community Be part of CAPREIT's continued growth in Southwest Florida Build and develop a high-performing onsite team Establish operating standards, resident experience, and community culture from the ground up Play a key role in the future expansion of our portfolio in the market Responsibilities What You'll Do: Lead the day-to-day operations, ensuring excellence in leasing, resident satisfaction, maintenance operations, and overall property performance. Administer and oversee affordable housing programs, including LIHTC, Section 8, HUD, and other subsidized housing programs , while maintaining strict regulatory compliance. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and company policies and housing regulations. Drive occupancy and revenue growth by monitoring leasing performance, rent collections, delinquency, renewals, and budget goals. Recruit, coach, develop, and inspire a high-performing onsite team committed to delivering exceptional results. Build strong resident relationships by providing outstanding customer service and creating a positive community living experience. Maintain accurate resident files, reports, compliance documentation, and operational records. Analyze financial reports and property metrics to identify opportunities for improved performance and operational efficiency. Partner with regional leadership to achieve community objectives, maximize resident retention, and support long-term asset success. Qualifications What We're Looking For We're searching for a driven, customer-focused leader with a strong background in multifamily operations and community leadership. Qualified Candidates Will Have: 5+ years of multifamily property management experience Community Manager experience required; lease-up experience strongly preferred Strong understanding of affordable housing compliance and regulatory requirements Experience managing property financials, including: Budgets Rent collections Delinquency management Occupancy goals Variance reporting Profit & Loss Statements General Ledgers Proven ability to lead, develop, and motivate onsite teams Exceptional customer service, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Experience with property management platforms such as: RealPage OneSite Yardi Or the ability to quickly learn new systems Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other business technologies Valid driver's license with the ability to operate a company vehicle and/or golf cart Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining compliance with company policies and housing regulations Schedule: Monday - Friday/On Call E-Verify Participating Employer CAPREIT participates in the federal E-Verify program.
