Bindery Operator

Plymouth, MI
$22-$30/hr DOE

We're looking for a Bindery Operator who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys hands-on work with commercial print finishing equipment . Whether you're already experienced in bindery operations or have a strong mechanical background and a willingness to learn, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do

Operate bindery and finishing equipment safely and efficiently
Set up and run jobs according to production specifications
Monitor quality throughout the production process
Perform preventative maintenance and minor machine repairs
Troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime
Meet production schedules and deadlines
Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

Equipment Experience Preferred

Experience with any of the following is a plus:

MBO Pile Feed Folders
MBO Continuous Feed Folders
Stahl Continuous Feed Folders
Muller Martini Saddle Stitchers
Polar Cutters
Heidelberg Cylinder Die Cutters

What We're Looking For

Commercial bindery experience preferred
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
Dependable, self-motivated, and team-oriented
Ability to take ownership of your work and consistently deliver quality results
