Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care across ICU, Step-Down, Cardiac Telemetry, Stroke Neuro, and Med-Surg units.
- Perform patient assessments, monitor clinical status, and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols.
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to support positive patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation using EPIC while following patient safety and quality care standards.
- Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) License required.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU and Cardiac nursing experience required.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Ability to float between ICU, Step-Down, Cardiac Telemetry, Stroke Neuro, and Med-Surg units.
