Forklift/Material Handler

Perrysburg, Ohio

$17HR - Paid Weekly

• 1st shift 6 am - 2:30 pm
• 2nd shift 2 pm - 10:30 pm
• 3rd shift 10 pm - 6:30 am

We are seeking a dependable Material Handler to support a fast-paced manufacturing operation. This position is responsible for safely moving, staging and supplying materials throughout the facility to keep production running efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Move and stage raw materials and finished products throughout the facility.

• Supply production lines and equipment with necessary materials.

• Load, unload, move and organize materials as needed.

• Operate a forklift, pallet jack and other material-handling equipment as assigned.

• Maintain proper material flow to prevent production delays.

• Verify materials and quantities for accuracy.

• Organize and maintain designated storage and staging areas.

• Assist with inventory and material tracking.

• Remove finished products and scrap from production areas.

• Follow established safety and quality procedures.

• Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment.

• Communicate material shortages or production needs to the appropriate supervisor.

• Perform additional production or warehouse duties as needed.

Requirements

• Previous material handling, warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred.

• Forklift experience preferred.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

• Ability to bend, stoop, reach and perform repetitive movements.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.

• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
