Specializing in Dedicated Freight, Freight Brokerage, Yard Management and Drayage services, we cover North America, including the U.S., Mexico, and Canada. We serve customers across various sectors, from packaged goods and retail to industrial supplies, and pride ourselves on delivering high‑quality, tailored logistics solutions. Position Overview: We are seeking to add an experienced and results‑driven Sales Professional to our team. This role requires a highly skilled professional with over 7 years of experience in transportation/Logistics sales, particularly within a 3PL environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in selling both transactional and dedicated transportation services across multiple verticals. The individual will be responsible for identifying and securing new business, managing customer relationships, and working collaboratively with various internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and growth. Key Responsibilities: New Business Development: Identify, prospect, and qualify new customers whose transportation needs align with MW Logistics' services, including Freight Brokerage, Yard Management and Drayage. Needs Assessment and Analytics: Conduct in-depth analysis and needs assessment for potential and existing customers to recommend the best service solutions. Utilize data insights and sales enablement tools to conduct lead generation activities for new business, including cold calling, networking and other prospecting methods to convert new business. Sales Process Administration & Improvement: Complete administration requirements for managing accounts, identify areas for improvement within the sales process and customer service to enhance both internal and external support and processes. Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Pricing, Operations, Sales, Account Management and Leadership to secure and maintain customer relationships. Customer Scorecards: Actively review and manage customer scorecards to track performance and satisfaction. Customer Communication: Provide continuous, seamless, and timely communication with customers, ensuring their needs are met efficiently. Required Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university required. Experience: Minimum of 7 years of work experience in logistics/transportation sales, preferably within a 3PL or related logistics environment. Demonstration of a strong understanding of the logistics industry, specifically transportation services such as dedicated freight, brokerage, and drayage. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. Computer/Systems: Moderate to Excellent Microsoft Office suite skills. Experience and ability to use TMS/CRM. Travel: Ability to travel up to 25% to meet with clients and attend industry events. Business Development: Proven ability to develop new business relationships and close sales in a competitive market.
