Quality Inspector I

A Quality Inspector I performs basic inspection duties under supervision. This requires basic blueprint reading skills, performing measurements accurately with basic measuring tools, and learning Morgan Steel’s processes and quality standards.Primary ResponsibilitiesPerform basic inspections on raw materials, component parts and finished goodsRead simple blueprintsMeasures parts using tape measure, micrometer, protractor and calipersDocument inspection results accuratelyIdentifies obvious non-conforming materialFollow written work instructionsWork safely and maintain organized inspection areas1+ year manufacturing experienceBasic math skillsWillingness to learn inspection tools and techniquesPositive “can-do” attitudeAbility to work independently with guidance #J-18808-Ljbffr Morgan-Steel-LLC-1
