Program Manager IIDuration: 6 - 12 Months and Possible Conversion to FTE Location: Radcliff Road, Tewksbury, MA - 01876 Salary Range: $80 - $100/Hour on W2 (Without Benefits) Security Clearance: Ability to Obtain a Public Trust Client: Griffin AviationJob Description:Solid understanding of project management skills, including scope, time and cost managementDevelop a comprehensive WBS and project schedule with help of the core teamLead and influence the engineering team, as well as the cross-functional team to achieve program objectives.Lead the team through the New Product Introduction lifecycle phases including requirements, concept development, design reviews, V&V and release to production.Lead team and technical meetings, program reviews and gate reviews.Work with cross-functional team to address program issues and identify and manage program risksCommunicate regularly and clearly to internal and external program stakeholdersStrong risk and stakeholder management experience with proactive and problem-solving skillsHaving fortitude to handle multiple projectsExperience with PowerPoint presentation to provide projects' progress status and risksBS/BA in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar and 10+ years of experience.Previous 5+ years' experience as a program manager in hardware and software product developmentEffective communication, strategic thinking, leadership and strong organizational skills.Broad Engineering background sufficient to analyze design data related to electrical, software, mechanical, and physical science disciplines.Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills are required for effective interface with all internal and external contacts.Must-Haves (Hard Skills):3 years project management, multi-faceted projects end to end & MS ProjectNice-To-Haves (Hard Skills)Product development/software/engineering projects
