It is the loudest, most physical, and most critical bottleneck in the entire fulfillment process. As an Outbound Dock Worker , you are the muscle that ensures millions of packages make it onto the trucks before the dispatch cutoff times. The Physicality of the Dock Working on the dock is not for the faint of heart. Yard & Dock Safety: The dock is a high-traffic zone filled with moving machinery. You will strictly enforce the "Circle of Safety," ensuring all trailers are securely locked to the dock doors with glad-hands and wheel chocks before anyone enters the trailer.
