Warehouse Team Lead

The Warehouse Team Lead oversees a wide variety of warehouse activities. Organizes warehouse and schedules production work to ensure revenue goals are attained. Maintains a safe and productive work environment while processing donated goods, salvage materials, store inventory and trash.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education - High school diploma required.

Experience - Minimum of 2 years prior supervisory experience, preferably in waste, warehouse, and logistics. Driver experience preferred.

Other - Experience with material handling equipment required. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to make calculations such as discounts, freight estimates, dimensional weight, invoices, and percentages. Knowledge of general business computer software and aptitude to learn new software applications. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Must be able to work a flexible schedule.

Job Duties

Essential Duties - % of Time

As directed by the Warehouse Manager assigns tasks to achieve required daily warehouse productivity. Measures and reports the effectiveness of the department activities. Establishing or adjusting work procedures to meet warehouse demands as dictated by production schedules and work flow. Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations. Develops and maintains departmental work instructions for all tasks. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Monitors loading/unloading of trucks. Manages trash flow daily. Prepare reports and employee documentation when required. Manage equipment flow. Provide good customer service. Other duties as assigned. - 100%
