TikTok Shop Community & Creator Engagement Manager

About this role:

We're hiring someone to own our affiliate ecosystem end to end: build and run our Discord creator community, own the processes behind creator outreach and re-engagement, and work alongside the VA team that executes against them.

This is an ownership role. You are the person the team comes to for answers on anything creator-facing.

The role takes two skill sets: strong operations instincts and a real ability to build relationships with creators. You'll spend the early months building systems with our Director of Operations and getting the VA team running against them. As those systems get closer to autopilot, more of your week shifts toward one-on-one relationships with our highest-value creators. This is a long-term, growing role, and scope will expand as the community does.

Key responsibilities: 

Discord Community Management

• Process new-member applications to join the community, verifying each applicant before granting access and assigning the correct membership tier based on performance.
• Onboard new members as they're verified so they understand how the community works and what's expected of them.
• Post daily engagement content and prompts to keep the community active and members participating.
• Share standout, high-quality creator content and campaign highlights to inspire the group and set the content bar.
• Keep members updated on the latest retainer opportunities, new products available for sampling, and brand campaign details as they come in.
• Run contests and challenges: post the details, track submissions, and announce winners.
• Process support tickets, sample requests, and discount-code requests, following our sample request SOP (flag anything uncertain rather than deciding alone, and make sure nothing sits unreviewed until it expires).
• Keep our FAQ resources current as new questions come up so replies stay fast and consistent.
• Run the invite push that's already built into our funnel to keep growing membership.
• Keep the group active and engaged day to day. This is a long-term build, and scope will continue to grow as the community does.

Creator Communications & Re-engagement Outreach

• Serve as a direct line of communication with creators over email, working with them one-on-one outside of the community.
• Run creator re-engagement outreach for underperforming-but-good-content client programs, starting with a small initial group and expanding from there.
• Identify the top 3-5 creators per program based on content quality and past performance.
• Personally email or message each creator directly, cc'ing the account strategist.
• Work each conversation toward a real response: more content, a higher commission rate, a paid post, or whatever gets that creator excited to post consistently for that client again.
• Log outcomes so results and learnings carry over to the next program added to this list.

What success looks like:

• The community runs daily without you touching every piece.
• The community stays active daily, with applications, onboarding, and tickets processed same-day and no sample request left to expire unreviewed. xhyhwjd
• Creators in the re-engagement program respond directly and re-engage (more content, better rates, or paid posts) rather than going quiet.
• Reporting is clear enough that progress and gaps are obvious without having to ask.
• Six months in, the operational side runs closer to autopilot and more of your week goes to creator relationships than to task management

Must-haves

• Prior experience with TikTok Shop, creator/affiliate marketing, or influencer outreach
• Experience with a creator or affiliate management platform (e.g., Cruva)
• Background building, moderating, or growing an online community (Discord, Slack, or similar)
• Experience directing remote contractors or VAs and holding them to a standard
