PediCare Nursing Agency is hiring compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide one-on-one private duty nursing care for a patient in Pelahatchie, MS .

We currently have PRN weekday shifts available with flexible shift lengths , making this a great opportunity for an LPN looking to add hours around another job, school, or family schedule.

POSITION DETAILS

Location: Pelahatchie, MS

Scheduling: Flexible PRN scheduling – choose the available shifts that work for you

AVAILABLE SHIFTS

Monday, Tuesday & Thursday

• 4:00 PM–9:00 PM

Wednesday & Friday

• 7:00 AM–9:00 PM

• Full shift available

• Shorter shift options are also available within the 7:00 AM–9:00 PM coverage window

ABOUT THE CASE

Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care for a patient in the comfort of their home.

The assigned nurse will provide one-on-one care throughout the shift , allowing for focused nursing assessment, skilled interventions, and individualized support for the patient and family.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide safe, skilled, and compassionate nursing care according to the physician's plan of care

• Perform ongoing assessments and monitor for changes in patient condition

• Administer medications, treatments, and other ordered nursing interventions

• Assist with activities of daily living as needed

• Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation

• Communicate changes or concerns appropriately with the clinical team

• Educate and support the patient and family regarding home-care needs

REQUIREMENTS

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Mississippi

• Current BLS certification

• Current TB screening within the past 12 months

• Ability to meet all required state background screening requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience

• Private duty or home-care experience is a plus
