Credentialed Alcoholism & Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) Binghamton NY

Full-Time MondayFriday $28$30/hour

The IMA Group is hiring a full-time CASAC for our Binghamton this role youll be the person who meets clients at a turning point assessing their needs connecting them to the right OASAS program and following through to make sure they dont fall through the cracks. No caseload to carry home no on-call rotation no billing pressure. Just focused meaningful work with a team that backs you up.

What youll do:

• Complete timely substance use disorder assessments scheduled through the Broome County Department of Social Services
• Recommend treatment and make referrals matched to each clients circumstances
• Track client engagement in OASAS programs and keep documentation current
• Use your knowledge of local providers and community resources to move referrals quickly
• Secure consents and confirm placements
• Build strong working relationships with the SAAM team DSS staff and area OASAS providers

What you bring:

• Active CASAC credential in New York State with continuing education per OASAS requirements
• One to four years of relevant experience
• Bachelors degree preferred
