Key Qualifications:

• Current Virginia Department of Education certification
• Active Virginia Psychology Licensure
• School psychologist experience, ideally in assessment, FBA/BIP support, and MTSS
• Willingness to initiate VA Dept. of Social Services check promptly
• Ability to provide a recent TB Test per state requirements
• Strong interpersonal, consultative, and collaborative skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and provide consultative input to staff and families
• Support functional behavior assessments and behavior intervention planning
• Contribute insights and guidance for MTSS teams as needed
• Collaborate with other professionals such as social workers; limited counseling support required
• Maintain clear, accurate, and confidential documentation
• Foster a positive and supportive learning environment for K-8 students
• Maintain relationships across two school buildings, with a workday from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM
