Position Title Security Officer – Part Time Patrol Route (Saint Louis, MO) Position Type Part Time Pay Rate $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule Tue: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and report relevant details according to site guidelines. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and communicate with property staff and emergency personnel regarding security concerns. Assist with documenting daily activity, incidents, and maintenance observations, while supporting a professional presence throughout the location. Minimum Requirements Be at least 21 years of age. Customer service experience is preferred. A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
