Staff Accountant

Carolina PRG has partnered with a well-established manufacturing organization seeking a Staff Accountant to support its Accounting and Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking to gain hands‑on experience across a variety of accounting, reporting, and finance functions while working in a collaborative team environment. Key Responsibilitie Support day-to-day accounting and finance activities across multiple areas of the business Assist with month-end close processes, journal entries, and account reconciliation Prepare and maintain Excel reports, schedules, and supporting documentation for budgeting, forecasting, account analysis, and special projects Process supplier and vendor invoices accurately and timely Research and resolve invoice discrepancies while communicating with internal stakeholders and vendors as needed Assist with financial reporting, documentation management, and record retention Support the preparation of presentations, reports, and materials for leadership meetings Maintain electronic financial records and ensure documents are properly organized and stored within company system Assist with process improvement initiatives and support special projects as assigned Help ensure the accuracy and integrity of accounting data and financial information Qualificatio High school diploma or equivalent required; Accounting or Finance coursework preferred Previous accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or finance-related experience preferred Understanding of accounting fundamentals, including general ledger reconciliations and financial statements Knowledge of balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow reporting concepts Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, Pivot Tables, and VLOOKUPs preferred Experience working within ERP or accounting systems preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook; Word and PowerPoint experience preferred Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment #J-18808-Ljbffr CAROLINA PRG
