Job Title Senior Staff Physician, UNLV Student Wellness, Student Health Center Services (R0152295) Job Description The Senior Staff Physician provides high‑quality, evidence‑based direct patient care to UNLV students, faculty, staff, and dependents. The position supports the UNLV Student Health Center (SHC) and the Faculty and Staff Treatment (FAST) Center, and may also perform telehealth services. The physician acts as a clinical supervisor of contracted and per diem physicians and is a core member of a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Role Responsibilities

• Provide assessment, diagnosis, initiation and evaluation of treatment, and referrals for students and staff.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Offer culturally competent, respectful clinical services that support student health, mental‑health, and well‑being.
• Supervise contracted and per diem physicians and serve as a clinical educator when appropriate.

Minimum Qualifications Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) from an accredited institution. A successful family medicine residency and current Nevada M.D./D.O. license in good standing. National board certification as a family medicine physician. At least three years of experience practicing family medicine, including in‑office surgical procedures. One year of experience supervising physicians and/or medical residents. Pass a background screening. Compliance with the Employee Exposure to Communicable Disease policy. Preferred Qualifications One year or more of precepting, teaching, or training medical students.
