Full Time Accounting Services Accountant

Staff Accountant Location: Tysons Corner, VA – Hybrid (Tues-Thurs in office) Status: Full Time, Exempt IntelliDyne, LLC is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our Finance & Accounting team. The Staff Accountant will report directly to the Controller to support day-to-day accounting operations and will be an integral member of the Finance & Accounting Department. Enter cash receipts, monitor aging reports and assist with follow-up on outstanding balances with clients. Organize and maintain electronic accounting records by combining and filing AP, AR, and supporting documentation. Review and process employee timesheets on a semi-monthly basis, generate timesheet reports, assist with payroll processing, and support timesheet corrections as needed. Perform reconciliations of reports, including credit cards and subcontractor reports, and assist with researching and resolving discrepancies. Support the accounting team with ad hoc tasks such as updating Excel schedules, saving monthly bank statements, booking travel reservations, and assisting with new hire and termination set up in Deltek Costpoint. Assist with audits, property tax filings, and other compliance-related requests as needed. Support the Controller with financial deliverables, including DCAA related reporting and annual incurred cost submissions. Participate in training opportunities, including Deltek learning resources, to build a strong understanding of accounting principles, internal controls, and government contracting requirements.
