Phlebotomist - Float
Labcorp
Labcorp seeks a Float Phlebotomist to perform blood collections and specimen processing across multiple Southeast Michigan locations. The role involves patient interaction, data entry, and travel between sites, with flexibility in scheduling.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests
- Enter patient information and maintain specimen logs accurately
- Prepare collected specimens for testing and handle billing administration
- Travel to multiple sites as needed to provide phlebotomy coverage
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ year phlebotomy experience or completed accredited training program
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass color blindness test
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between locations
Compensation: Base pay plus $2.00/hr float incentive and mileage reimbursement
