Warehouse Associate

Adecco is currently assisting a local Customer in their search for Warehouse Associate Position in WESTBURY NY. This is a great opportunity to further your existing skills as a Warehouse Associate, while learning new ones to assist you in your career.

Responsibilities:

• Must be able to operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts to safely unload carriers.

• Capable of inspecting deliveries for damages, and discrepancies and notifies Purchasing and Quality departments of any issues.

• Experience in inventory management, storekeeping, and stockroom operations for handling mechanical and electrical components.

• Must be able to perform various functions of a highly repetitive nature while maintaining concentration of task.

• Working knowledge of computer programs for the receipt of purchased goods.

• Process paperwork and complete all necessary transactions according to established procedures.

• Deliver items to requisitioning departments and obtains authorized signatures for accepted items

Requirements:

· 1-3 years of previous warehouse or stockroom experience.

· Forklift experience is required

· High School Diploma or GED required.

Pay Details: $18.00 to $19.00 per hour
