Heavy Equipment Operator*The jobsite is technically located in New Mexico, just outside of El Paso*We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to safely and efficiently operate a variety of construction equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, backhoes, skid steers, loaders, and related machinery. This role supports daily construction operations while maintaining equipment, following safety standards, and working collaboratively with field crews.Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesOperate heavy equipment including, but not limited to, excavators, dozers, backhoes, skid steers, loaders, and gradersPerform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on assigned equipmentLoad and unload equipment from vehicles and trailersCoordinate machine movement with crew members using hand signals or audio communicationComplete required paperwork, inspection forms, and daily recordsComply with all job site safety policies and procedures at all timesEssential QualificationsMinimum of 3–5 years of experience operating heavy equipment, including bulldozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, scrapers, and gradersReliable transportation and willingness to travel as neededHighly motivated with a strong work ethicAbility to pass a drug screen and background check (as required by site/location)Ability to safely operate commonly used construction tools and equipmentAbility to work independently with minimal supervision once tasks are assignedStrong commitment to workplace safety and ability to promote safe work practicesTeam-oriented mindset with the ability to maintain positive working relationshipsPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 70 pounds occasionally and 40–50 pounds frequentlyProlonged sitting, grasping, and reachingOccasional climbing, walking, and working outdoors in varying weather conditionsWe are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
