We are seeking a compassionate and dependable team member to support residents in an assisted living environment by providing quality care, assistance with daily living activities, and attentive communication. The ideal candidate is committed to promoting dignity, comfort, safety, and independence while working collaboratively with the care team to create a positive resident experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility support as appropriate.
• Provide medication assistance in accordance with facility policies, training, and applicable regulations.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly communicate concerns to the appropriate supervisor or clinical team member.
• Support residents with routine daily tasks and encourage independence whenever possible.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to resident care, medication assistance, and observations as required.
• Respond to resident requests in a courteous, timely, and professional manner.
• Follow safety procedures, infection control practices, and emergency protocols.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming living environment.
• Collaborate with coworkers and other departments to ensure resident needs are met consistently.
• Promote resident dignity, privacy, and respect at all times.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in assisted living, long-term care, caregiving, or a related healthcare setting preferred.
• Medication administration or medication assistance experience preferred, depending on state and facility requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow care plans, policies, and instructions accurately.
• Compassionate, patient, and resident-focused approach to care.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer or documentation skills may be required.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing, walking, lifting, and assisting residents with mobility needs as appropriate.
